108-Foot Maha Vishnu Vishwaroopa, Bengaluru

Standing majestically in Ejipura, Bengaluru, the Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple is known for its enormous 108-foot Maha Vishnu Vishwaroopa statue.
The monumental image portrays Vishnu in His cosmic form, inspired by the Vishwaroopa described in the Bhagavad Gita.
According to accounts associated with the temple, the statue was carved from a single massive stone brought from Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. Its creation and transportation were an extraordinary undertaking, with the huge stone reportedly weighing around 420 tonnes.
The project is associated with Dr. B. Sadanand, who initiated the work in 2010. The temple itself is said to have a history of around 75 years.
What makes this Vishwaroopa particularly striking is not merely its height, but the scale, intricate stone carving and powerful representation of Vishnu as the cosmic form.
A remarkable meeting of devotion, craftsmanship and monumental stone art in Bengaluru.
