In a shocking case from Gujarat’s Morbi, a blood cancer patient’s attempt to get a bone marrow transplant from his son led to a rape investigation.
Doctors conducted HLA typing and compatibility tests between the patient and his son, but the results showed the son was not his biological child.Following this, the patient’s wife filed a complaint alleging rape against the husband of a former Morbi Nagarpalika councillor, with whom she claimed to have had an affair.Police said an investigation has been launched into the matter.
