In a shocking incident from Chhota Ladpur village under Hathras Junction, a 17-year-old BSc student Anita has been bitten by a snake for the 8th time in one-and-a-half months, including 3 times in 3 days.Family said a black snake is often seen inside the house.
On Tuesday evening, while Anita was working indoors, the snake bit her again. She was rushed to the district hospital where her condition is said to be stable.Father Komal Gautam said every time she recovers after treatment but fear returns at home.
Snake catchers failed to catch it as it hides in wall cracks. The family has now sought help from the Forest Department.While some villagers call it superstition, others suspect a snake pit inside the house. Doctors say she is under observation and given anti-venom.
