Carnatic singer Sivasri Skandaprasad, wife of BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, described a recent train journey as “traumatic,” alleging that around 40 middle-aged passengers occupied much of the coach and spoke and laughed loudly for nearly five hours.
She said she approached the ticket examiner for a different seat but could not be moved due to the train being full.
Skandaprasad also raised concerns about civic sense and respect for public spaces, saying passengers should avoid creating a nuisance for others.
