R Madhavan Opens Up about chosing his own path instead of competing with Vijay and Ajith!

R Madhavan has opened up about why he chose to build his own identity in Tamil cinema rather than compete with superstars Vijay and Ajith Kumar. In an old interview with A Tube, the actor said he did not believe he possessed the same kind of talent as the two stars and instead focused on immersing himself in his characters, even if it meant missing out on good film opportunities.

Madhavan also recalled ignoring warnings against working with Kamal Haasan on Anbe Sivam. He described the experience as a learning opportunity, praising the veteran actor for encouraging feedback and collaboration after rehearsals. Madhavan compared working with Kamal to attending a university, saying the experience transformed his understanding of acting.
