R Madhavan has opened up about a career regret, admitting that he paid too little attention to his appearance, costumes and hairstyling during his early years in the film industry. Speaking to Madan Gowri, the actor said his middle-class upbringing meant he had not considered the importance of professional styling and grooming.
Madhavan also named Vaazhthugal as the film he regrets doing, saying he should have been more involved in the creative process. Despite the film’s box-office failure, he went on to star in successful projects such as 3 Idiots, Tanu Weds Manu and Vettai.
