Bigg Boss 20 contestant Riti Tiwari sparked controversy after claiming she gets only Rs 20-25k monthly allowance from father Manoj Tiwari and once survived on two Rs 10 vada pavs a day, putting only Rs 500 diesel in car.
Her ex-stepfather Punjabi singer Ekam Bawa slammed claims in viral Instagram video:
“Jiske paas 4-5 lakh ke handbags ho, badi-badi gadiya hai. Range Rover ka toh 2.5-3 lakh ka diesel ka kharcha hai khali. Aap 25,000 keh rahe ho?”
Ekam revealed he was in live-in with Riti’s mother Rani Tiwari from 2020-2022, married on Feb 18, 2022, lived together in same flat.
He also alleged Riti owns a sports company with huge turnover linked to known cricketers, and questioned Mumbai flats – “Bombay me bade-bade flats hai, woh kaha se aaya?”
He urged Riti not to lie on national TV and called out her abusive remarks in diss battle.
